I teach college English and TOEFL. I’m currently living in New York City, and have lived in many different states and countries in the past. Among my many interests are writing (I’m a writer by trade), reading, travel, running, biking, watching movies, translating, and trying daring new culinary combinations. I’m not the best cook, mind you, but I try. Since I’m fairly new to the city, I enjoy walking and exploring.
I hope to pursue a Ph.D. in Latin American (Spanish and Portuguese) Studies in the future. I have translated for National Council of La Raza (NCLR) in Washington, D.C., and currently am working on literary translations.
