Idea: Being able to refute/challenge a feedback

Sometimes one may notice that a feedback may not reflect the quality of their usual teaching skills. Tutors should be able to refute/challenge a feedback if they don’t find it reasonable/legitimate. Maybe it’s time for a function like that on eduFire as well.

This is especially important to new tutors that can get their ratings damaged easily by only a few possibly unfair ratings by students.

Cye, vote for your idea yourself, too! I think this is a good idea. I also (in addition) would like to suggest separate ratings for separate subjects. Teachers can have different level of skills with different subjects. It will keep ratings more accurate and encourage tutors to experiment more. I will post this as a separate "idea" as well.

I feel your pain Cye.

I think that's a good idea Cye. We should have a system incase of some kind of dispute and the teacher then receives negative and unfair feedback. 5 stars from me.

It is always key that communication and legitimacy is always held high!

That would be only fair :).

Given that the site currently allows tutors to read and choose to approve testimonials from previous students, they should offer a feature like this which makes student feedback on the site similar.
