eduFire - Live Video Learning

I would like to have my classroom open 24/7 for everyone. This can be beneficial for many reasons.

1) My students can meet at a central location when I am not around. If they are absent one week, they can meet in the classroom. Maybe files can’t be stored on eduFire’s servers, but perhaps we could have a list of links to where teachers could store files.

2) If someone sees my class and wants to join, I don’t want them to have to wait for tomorrow in order to join. I would rather they come late, meet them, and then they can simply sit back while I finish the class. If it is more free form, then they can participate right away. I am used to students coming so late, they only have 10 minutes. 10 minutes are better than 0, and if they are new I can find out their level so next class I will be more prepared to teach them.

3. I can be in a classroom preparing, and if a student sees I am in, they can treat it like office hours. Perhaps, they have some questions since last lesson and they don’t want to wait until next class.

I don’t want to commit myself during the week, but if I have 30 minutes here, 15 there, I might just pop in to see who needs a quick question answered.
