Idea: Send a note with a friend request

I like to add all new students and tutors and sometimes they think I’m a random stalker or something. I would love to be able to hit Add as Friend with an area to send a note so that I can tell them I am a Community Manager and I like to welcome all new students, etc. Along the lines of how Facebook does it would be great.

Just to clarify, I know that there is a link to send a note, but I would like to have it combined to save time and to have it inside the Friend request so they don't just junk the email they get for the friend request.

Excellent idea. I've often wanted to do this myself to cut down on the stalker thing. Haha.
