I love the language and culture as well, it just kind of drew me in. Alicia, have you had your kids sit in on a class with you here on eduFire? My kids always gather around when I have a Spanish Class. They love it!

Hi everyone! I have been fascinated with the Spanish language and culture since my first class in 9th grade. I’ve continued my studies in college and now on my own. My 10 year old son asked me about 5 years ago if he could learn Spanish because he had a new classmate that was Spanish. He’s been in 2 summer immersion Spanish camps and had tutors since then. But now I’m mainly teaching him. I wish I could find a bilingual school in Baltimore, MD for him to attend. He’s having his classmate teach him some Spanish but not a lot.

I hope more people will attend this creative writing class. Andre’s exercises spark the imagination. It’s a fun way to put theory into practice.
