Why should I market myself as a tutor on eduFire?

EduFire promotes all tutors, without you, there would be no eduFire. As an open platform we aim to help you build your business with continually improving technology allowing you to do what you do best, teach! Look at the website through the eyes of a student, browse through different tutors, why should that student pick you? This is why a fantastic profile with credentials, testimonials and a video are so important.

In addition to giving you great teaching tools, eduFire ensures a fair comments system where student feedback becomes an essential part of your profile. So marketing really is a team effort, eduFire continually promotes and markets the site whilst providing you with your virtual classroom, and as a tutor, you can ensure you attract as many students as possible through a great profile and using your URL (http://edufire.com/yourname) around the web such as Craigs List.

Thank you marco for this wonderful information. Edufire is really a wonderful website. It has a wonderful marketing system in a tutor’s profile. However, I think it should market itself as a website through other websites and forums. It should attract more students.

Dr. Hamdy, EduFire is definitely marketing itself at other sites, forum sites and blogs. If there are any in particular you can think of that EduFire should market to, please let us know. =

Hi Christina, I have an idea which I told Marco about. I think we can advertise through skypecasts. I will make a separate post for my idea and everyone tell me his opinion.

I’ll second Christina’s post. We definitely see marketing as a “joint venture” between us and our tutors. We’re trying to do our best to spread the eduFire and welcome your thoughts and suggestions as to how to best do so. At the same time we’re excited to work with our tutors to help you market yourself both offline and online. We feel that the most successful tutors will be the ones who put effort into building their own brand on the eduFire platform.
