Learning / Tutoring for free?

Hi, I’m willing to tutor anyone for Spanish for free, and want to learn Mandarin, also for free.
Is it possible here?
I know that that would ruin someone’s bussiness so most likely the answer will be no, but it would be great.

Maybe you could add some kind of special account in which you get credits for tutoring for free and can use those credits to get free lessons.

For free here it’s impossible because this site needs some money for living. The prices are not very high.
If you are really without a buck you can use Paltalk.
Paltalk and Edufire are not in competition, they are simply two different systems. Edufire can be free in the future but for that you must advertize and transform this site in a huge international platform. I personally know and believe that a site can be free thanks to advertizing. Right now Edufire is only a simple embryo. Let him live !

I think a site like xlingo or italki might be appropriate for what you are discussing here. The focus here is for something that bridges a formal, unflexible “classroom” type of approach and general conversational practice.

Also, as Patrick mentioned, Edufire generates it’s income through the paid tutoring where the other sites receive their income through other sources (advertising, etc.)

If you want to chat, there are sites available for that. This site is for the learner who wants a more formal and insightful learning experience.
I might want to email and chat with people from all over the world and learn a little of each language, but if I need a more extensive vocabulary and more grammatical skills, then I would be tutored at eduFire. Use the chatting and emailing for practice after you find a tutor to “show you the ropes”. (To get you started on a plan, and keep you going.)
