Just wanted to drop my first lines to the community and introduce myself… :) Well, I’ll be honest: I joined this place out of curiosity more than anything else – and even created a tutor account just in case. I’m a native Romanian speaker, almost fluent in English, learning French and Italian and having a weird interest in Latin. :D I’m still a University student (Foreign Languages) and I dream to someday be a professor at my Faculty. Although I haven’t tutored before, I think I could teach Romanian and Latin – the first one is my mother tongue, and the second one my biggest passion… I’m thrilled to be here, I was impressed by the very kind welcome I got from Marco this evening and I hope I will be able to contribute to the site in a small way or another… (I was thinking of creating some Flashcards to begin with) I’ll stop rambling for now, but you’ll hear from me soon! Welcome Sandra. Great to have you hear! We’d love to have you be a professor at eduFire! :) |
Thanks Jon! :) It’s great to be here – the site looks fantastic and I’m already enjoying myself! :) |

Hi Sandra, Welcome to eduFire!! |
Thanks, Stephanie! :) |
Hello Sandra! Nice to see you here! I have some friends from Romania! You have a very beautiful language! Welcome! |
Sandra! Fabulous! Welcome! eduFire! :) |
Welcome Sandra! I hope you provide crash courses Romanian as I definitely need to brush up my almost non-existent Romanian when I return to Spain (I have some Romanian friends living there who would love it when I’m able to communicate a bit with them in Romanian). |
Thank you, guys! It make me feel warm inside to be welcomed by so many nice people! Yuriy – I agree about the beauty of Romanian, but I think it’s one of the most difficult Romance languaces, with all the irregularities… :) Ramses – are you serious about brushing up your Romanian? :) But what do you mean by ‘crash courses’? |
I’m serious. With a crash course I mean lots of input/learning in a short amount of time. |
You see Sandra? I told you eduFire is great! ;) |
Hi Sandra! Loved your introduction. :) You have to stick around now you have joined us ;) |
Thanks, Debbie! :) I will be definitely sticking around! :) |
Ramses – wow! :) It would be my pleasure! Until now, I will soon create some Flash cards for Romanian that you could play! |
Marco – yes, I’m getting more and more excited with this place! :) Thanks so much for giving me the confidence to make myself visible! :) |
Welcome to the most happening place online, Sandra! And yes, Marco is an asset to the site as the person who gives you the tour! Everyone is extremely friendly and most are very funny! |
Thank you, Candy! :) I can see how everyone here is so welcoming and kind, it’s great! :) Oh, and I loved your bilingual presentation video! :) |
Why, thank you so very, very much, Sandra! It was the first one on Edufire, too. I think watching the presentations are fun. Wait until you see what Edufire has in store for its family of tutors and students in the fall! I can’t wait to use it as a tutor. |

Well, Marco mentioned the new website platform when he gave me the tour, and it does sound fantastic! :) Mind if I add you as a friend? ;;) |
