Hi I am new at this forum and on edufire. My name is Frodien, I liked the movie lord of the rings very much, so I got the name from that movie, the character frodo and made a female version of it… its nice to meet you all and I hope I can help you with teaching you dutch and english and maybe even my mothertongue, which is called frysian language… I live in the netherlands in europe. I live upnorth in the county that is called friesland… So hope to see ya soon. I am mostly online after 12 am my time, that is my local time then… En voor wie engels wil leren, de basiszinnetjes enz, dat kan natuurlijk ook altijd :)

I never knew that there was a language called Frysian. How interesting! A quick search on Google informed me that it is spoken by 25 million people. Wow! That’s not a shabby number!

Oops, my bad: I went back and read more the Frysian article more carefully. It’s actually spoken by 500,000 people. (25 million speak Dutch.) Still, not a shabby number!
