3 problems...

Hello,

I wanted to give you the heads up about three problems I experienced today and yesterday:

1) Although I received notification in my regular email about received eduFire messages before, I was not notified when I received the last several messages. (Messages from July 28 and 29.)

2) I was able to start a new thread in the introductions forum, but have been unable to post a reply, or a new post to the form. When I try a new page opens up that says “Status: 500 Internal Server Error Content-Type: text/html
500 Internal Server Error”.

3) I tried sending you this message yesterday to inform you only about the email notification problem (I had yet to discover the forum problem) and it would not go through. The same window appeared with the same Internal Server Error message.

I hope this message goes through! If not, I will start a new thread in one of the forums where appropriate… perhaps the FAQ?

p.s. I have a MacBook which runs Mac OS X 10.4.11, if that helps.

Ok… I was able to post a reply in this forum on the first go, but not in the introductions forum where I tried many times. I’ll try once again. (Sorry for the multiple messages!)

I believe all of these issues have been now resolved. The tech guys are constantly doing updates and tweaks so occasionally these things happen. Thanks for the detailed post, much appreciated. :)

What more : Its’ better to have technical problems in July and August than in September when there will be certainly a rush on Edufire. Look my example : I am terribly lazy when the sun shines and when I know that millions of people have their vacations. So I have my rest now for fighting friendly in September

so far I really don’t know whether edufire ‘s a program like any other programs online or an institution with a known location or place…I inquire about this because so many learners asked me and i couldn’t give them a satisfactory response. most of them need on line courses and are ready to pay in advance as well.
plz let me know …

What’s more to say is that some learners found some of my posts in google by chance. they click and go into our edufire. Fantastic to be world known tutor

I recommend something. Why not send us an id card with information about us

I like that idea Fikry, to be a world known tutor, although my plan is to be world known professor in wildlife coservation programs ;). Anyway, I hope that I can start teaching sessions about wild animal medicine and even pet medicine in the next few months after I finish my Masters degree.

The idea of ID cards is really wonderful. You know guys that this website has a brilliant future and everyone here is working hard to make it the best. It should be considered a recognized institute or giving recognized courses one day in the future and the ID cards is the beginning.

I know that everyone here considers Edufire as his “Online Home”, so please everyone let’s work hard and let it be recognized WORLDWIDE soon.

Yeah, I think that’s a fantastic idea. Basically business card templates that could easily be printed (or maybe we’d even print them for you! :)). They could have your name, what you teach and your eduFire URL. I really like the idea…definitely add it to the Ideas board!!!
