Some Characteristics of a Good Tutor Positive outlook: belief that circumstances can be changed through actions. Desire to help others: willingness to get involved with people. Reliability: punctual, steady, dependable. Enthusiasm: liking for the subject matter. Open mind: willingness to accept other points of view. Initiative: ability to see what needs to be done and do it. Even disposition: patience, gentleness, understanding, fairness. Empathy: ability to feel what another person is feeling so from the steps mentioned above I can conclude by saying that good tutor should be helpful to his learners whenever they need help. Set a good example of being punctual. should be fair and nver shows any kind of bias.should love his subject matter ( english ) ., and have a good command of it. |

Oh Marco! your compliment again. Thanks so much , sir. Remember, it is our fate to be tutors. No one would ever guess how much burdens of blame we carry upon our shoulders daily. but, the work of day by day presents no difficulties… We should continue.. |

Fantastic! Thanks Fikry. One of the things that most excites me about eduFire is our tutors being able to share best practices with each other (not to mention handouts, homework, quizzes, etc.). One of our main goals at eduFire is to make tutoring/teaching radically more enjoyable than it’s ever been before. As a former teacher I know how much fun it already is or can be. We hope we can provide you guys with the tools to take it to the next level! |
