I have been MIA...

Hey everyone, I have been MIA for a little while. My power cord for my laptop died, and once the power was spent I was without a computer.

Aside from that the kids and I were sick as well. We have been sick 3 out of the last 4 weeks. First the stomach flu and now Strep.

It has been a challenging month for us. I was finally able to order a power cord when my paycheck arrived and it will be here tomorrow. I am using the facilities at the library for now. I could not believe that a generic power cord by Targus was $109, whereas just ordering the half of the cord I needed directly from Sony was only $59 and some change. It came out to be under $80 with overnight shipping. I am very frugal and so happy to have saved about $30, and looking forward to being online more than an hour at a time, as the local library allows, lol.

Thanks you guys! I am expecting my power cord to come it today before 5pm!!! Until then I have stolen my DH’s laptop, with his permission of course. He is just super strict about what I can and cannot do on his laptop, lol. I have crashed a computer or two in my time, lol. Glad to be back!

The power cord did not arrive as promised yesterday, hopefully it comes today. It is awkward that when my hour is up at the library computer I use my kids library cards for additional two hours of computer time, lol. Not supposed to do that, but hey a girl has work to do, and the library is a perfect sitter for my book worms, lol. No I don’t let them out of my sight.
