Saw a thread of this kind over on Yelp today and thought it would be fun to have one here. So what were you doing on July 31st, 2007? Me? I went to see the Giants play the Dodgers that night as Barry Bonds was in the chase for the home run record. He didn’t get it that night but I was up in San Francisco the next week and happened to go to the game where we got it. :) In addition, my Google Calendar tells me I had a bunch of meetings and calls that day and went to work out in the afternoon so I’d say it was a fairly typical day. So what were you doing? |
Me?, working at a call center…giving tech support to people from the USA who have DSL services with AT&T. That day…and I have it in my calendar, a Granny I helped for over an hour on the phone told me she loved me, before finishing the call…it was awkward, but sweet…the following call was awkward too…but in a very different way since a guy (can I say what he did?) got obscene on the phone with me, and since he wasn’t yelling or insulting me, I couldn’t hang up and had to listen him through his entire self satisfying session…(I guess you know what I mean) That’s the day I started looking for a different job. Me? I’d been on the job for eduFire for about 3 weeks and was just getting over a nasty bout of Pneumonia (103 fever, etc). |

103 fever Scott! Wowzer!!! Glad you recovered so could help build this place to what it is. :) I had just finished a psychology paper and had two more to go before the final exam to get my degree. |

I can’t remember what I was doing yesterday at this time, lol. |

I’m about the same as you Tina >.< I was probably savoring the summer days…or wait..no probably at the band room as I was Drum Major at the time…which is basically the leader of the band and the band director’s PA. |

I had just moved and was getting settled in my new home. Susan, I totally understand what you were going through. I used to do the same thing for UPS Shipping Software. |

It really is a tiring job…but it’s interesting too…you get to talk to many different people. Sue |
