As Educators, all of us should be setting a good example for all of our students by VOTING. In California and many other states there are serious propositions on the ballot which may change the meaning of equality in our country. Take care and vote, Rachael |

I’m very lucky to have some professors that are understanding and canceled class for fear of having no students show because they were voting. The fact that my profs are understanding isn’t all that makes me happy, it’s that there is the real initiative of my university’s student body to vote. |

Thank you, Rachael! Yes, please vote on November 4th and have your voice be heard! |

I voted early last week. I highly recommend voting. :) |

@Sean: It’s so cool that you have profs who are canceling classes on election day! That really helps people who want to stay at the polls to do last-minute campaigning for favorite candidates and causes. |

I wish that my professors were cancelling class on Tuesday…. I have to be at school until 6pm then run to the polls after that. |

I voted as well. Then late last evening I hear about how people in this area are idiots. Most of them voted for more taxes yet again. Sigh. As if we weren’t being taxed enough. I’m wondering if I should move out of the city? I wouldn’t be able to escape Obama though…. |
