This class expands upon the article I just wrote about knives (http://tinyurl.com/yjzuezw). This will give you basic knowledge about knife safety, why there are different knives for use in the kitchen, what their uses are, how to store your knives and why the type of cutting board you use is important. There will be one basic chopping demonstration, a powerpoint presentation will be provided for your future reference and the class will be recorded, as well. Just in time for the holidays! Don’t miss it!
1. Which knife is which?
2. How do I store my knives?
3. My knife cuts fine; isn’t it safer if it isn’t too sharp?
